Kaolin, also known as white clay or china clay, is a soft clay that’s been considered to be one of the gentlest facial clays. It has kaolinite, a mineral that consists of layered silicate. While the mineral is found all over the world, it has been mined at the Kao-ling mountain (China) since ages.

Kaolin clay  It mostly comes in white colour, but can also be pink, green or brown. Rose Kaolin clay is also sometime referred to as pink clay as it contain traces of iron that gives its pink colour. This is a mild kaolin clay that is suitable for almost all types of skin, especially sensitive skin to gently cleanse and exfoliate the skin.
